Earthquake in Haiti, January 2010 E-Mail

The following analyses incorporate satellite images (GeoEye, Ikonos, EO-1) and other geospatial information to show the damages in Port-au-Prince, Hait, and surrounding areas, as a result of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake on 12 January 2010.  Along with epicetner and aftershock locations, other maps utilized EO-1 satellite imagery (ALI sensor) in order to identify possible landslides.  We also present a series of "before and after" maps that utilized two satellite images, where the image on the left was taken on 29 September 2009 by Ikonos, and the image on the right was taken on 13 January 2010 by GeoEye
